Gordon Reed Scully Mansukhani Philadelphia Partner Catherine Slavin will present “Federal Preemption in Aviation and Transportation” at the IATSBA Air & Transport Law Conference in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, May 17, 2018.  Slavin is among more than 40 top government, industry experts and private law firm leaders who will deliver more than 20 presentations covering cutting edge issues impacting the aviation and transportation industries. This year’s annual conference is a three day conference, May 16-18, held at the Holiday Inn Washington Capitol.

Slavin focuses her practice on aviation litigation defense, representing aircraft and aircraft component manufacturers, aircraft operators, FBOs, and aviation insurers in product liability, commercial litigation, and coverage matters. Slavin has handled a wide variety of general aviation and airline cases in state and federal courts nationwide, at both the trial court and appellate levels. She has argued appeals in aviation cases before the Second, Third, Fifth, and Tenth Circuits, the Delaware Supreme Court, and the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
