Maritime Litigator Andrew Port Speaks on Occupational Disease Lawsuits at International Seminar

May 2019

On May 24, San Francisco Partner Andrew Port will present "The Anatomy of an Occupational Disease Lawsuit" at the International Group of Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Clubs' Occupational Disease Seminar in London, England. Port's presentation is among several discussions that will examine occupational diseases occurring aboard ships and within the maritime industry.

The International Group of P&I Clubs is a group of the 13 largest insurers of ocean going ships and provides coverage for 90 percent of the world's ocean going fleet. This is Port's third time being invited to speak at an International Group of P&I Clubs' seminar.

Port’s practice has focused on the maritime industry for more than 30 years. He represents vessel owners, operators, charterers, and their underwriters in matters involving wrongful death and personal injury, collisions, cargo claims, hull damage, oil spills (investigation and cleanup), charter party and other commercial contract disputes, toxic torts and occupational disease litigation. He has substantial experience in all aspects of litigation in both federal and state courts and is recommended counsel by the International Group of P&I Clubs for occupational disease claims.
