    Patrick Jordan has experience in Commercial Litigation, Appeals, Class Actions, and Contract and Tort lawsuits.  His experience involves personal and catastrophic injury, securities fraud, construction, contract disputes, products liability, asbestos, and software disputes in both state and federal courts.  Patrick has successfully represented clients in all stages of a lawsuit – from obtaining dismissals of his clients before trial, to completing full arbitrations, to representing clients in appellate practice before the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and the Fourth Circuits.

    Patrick also has extensive experience with cases involving fraud, real property, partnership disputes, air pollution, securities fraud, and white-collar criminal issues, while at other firms in Seattle.

    Prior to joining GRSM, Patrick worked in sales management for ten years for companies such as Adelphia Communications Corp., YMCA, and Vector Marketing Corp.

  • Representative Experience
    • (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit 2023):  Obtained an opinion from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals affirming our client’s dismissal with prejudice of class action lawsuit alleging Washington Privacy Act violations.
    • (W.D. Wash. 2022):  Obtained dismissal with prejudice of class action lawsuit alleging violations of Washington Privacy Act before our client filed a responsive pleading to the plaintiff’s Complaint.
    • (King County Superior Court 2022):  Obtained voluntarily dismissal with prejudice of negligent entrustment tort claim against our client before our client filed a responsive pleading to the plaintiff’s Complaint.
    • (Pierce County Superior Court 2021): Obtained voluntary dismissal of Plaintiffs’ intentional tort claim against client before deposition discovery phase of litigation.
    • (Pierce County 2021): In a home fire investigation involving expert witnesses for all parties, negotiated and persuaded subrogation counsel not to pursue litigation against a product manufacturer client whose product was involved in the home fire.
    • (Thurston County Superior Court 2020):  Obtained a stipulated dismissal by Plaintiff of both a Washington Consumer Protection Act claim and an Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress claim against our client.
    • (W.D. Wash. 2020):  Obtained Rule 12(b)(6) dismissal of client in a civil RICO lawsuit.
    • (King County Superior Court 2017): Obtained dismissal of client early in the lawsuit and before much discovery in a wrongful death suit.
    • (King County Superior Court 2016): Obtained summary judgment dismissal before trial on behalf of a general-contractor client in a construction wrongful death suit.
    • (W.D. Wash. 2013): Obtained summary judgment dismissal on behalf of the client in a software development dispute.
    • (King County Superior Court 2012): Obtained summary judgment dismissal on behalf of the client in an asbestos product liability action.
