    Stephanie Imbornone is Senior Counsel in the Commercial Litigation and Employment practice groups in the New Jersey office of GRSM. 
     
    Stephanie handles a variety of litigation, including breach of contract, premises liability, professional malpractice, and commercial collection actions. 

    Stephanie also has extensive experience in defending employers in employment actions involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblowing in both federal and state courts. She regularly advises clients on matters concerning the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, and the New York City Human Rights Law. 

    Stephanie’s experience includes preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; taking depositions; representing clients at mediations and arbitrations; and appearing for oral argument before trial and appellate courts. She has successfully obtained dismissals of a multi-plaintiff employment action, numerous Federal Debt Collection Practices Act cases, and premises liability matters. 

    Stephanie graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law where she served as the Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. Before graduating from law school, she was a legal intern for the Honorable Lisa F. Chrystal, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
