In the Daily Journal's second annual polling of California's Top Law Firms, Gordon & Rees figured prominently in the overall California list, Northern and Southern California, as well as the individual city lists for San Francisco and San Diego. Among the top 15 firms, Gordon & Rees had the largest net increase of California attorneys.
Gordon & Rees once again was ranked as the 13th largest firm in California. Other rankings, including last year's position, were as follows:
2nd largest firm in San Diego (3)
7th largest firm in the San Francisco Bay Area (10)
10th largest firm in Southern California (13)
16th largest firm in Northern California (16)
Mirroring its growth in California, Gordon & Rees continued to expand across the country in 2011, opening new offices in Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas; and Hartford, Connecticut. Year to date, the firm has opened new offices in Carlsbad, California; St. Louis, Missouri; and Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
