Kendra S. Canape Joins Gordon & Rees as Partner in the Orange County Office

Kendra S. Canape has joined Gordon & Rees as a partner in the Orange County office. Canape is co-chair of the Securities Litigation Group and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Law practice groups.

She brings vast experience in the financial services sector and will be an asset in meeting the legal needs of our clients locally and as our firm continues to expand nationally."

Canape represents some of the largest financial services firms in the country. She has significant experience in financial services litigation representing national and regional banks, brokerage firms and registered representatives. She has also defended employers in judicial, arbitration and administrative proceedings and has litigated and counseled corporations on cybersecurity and technology issues, including emerging cybersecurity and data privacy-related issues.

Canape is admitted in California and New York. She is a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Canape earned her law degree from the University of San Diego Law School and her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
