Aaron P. Rudin is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Intellectual Property and Insurance practice groups.
Aaron regularly represents business entities in matters involving individual as well as class action claims, including claims of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, fraud, unfair competition, and alleged Labor Code violations.
Aaron’s commercial litigation practice includes handling complex commercial disputes involving breach of contract, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secret, choice of law and international law issues with a particular focus and expertise in disputes involving franchisors and franchisees. He has also represented several corporate entities in class action disputes involving numerous issues including alleged violations of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, the Cartwright Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Aaron’s intellectual property practice includes handling matters involving copyright, trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, rights of publicity and privacy based claims. He represents a diverse list of clients, including television stations, music production companies, book and magazine publishers, authors, international restaurant franchisors, global advertising agencies, ticket brokerage agencies and various commercial internet based enterprises.
Aaron’s insurance practice includes counseling clients on coverage issues, insurance coverage and “bad faith” litigation involving media liability, advertising injury, entertainment, construction, first party property and automobile coverage issues, as well as defending carrier clients in nationwide class actions. He also represents distribution companies in complex products liability matters.
