  • Biography

    Adam M. Masin is Senior Counsel in the Hartford office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Adam has more than two decades of experience litigating nationwide mass torts, product liability claims, and complex business disputes. As national or local counsel, he has handled hundreds of pharmaceutical and medical device lawsuits at every stage of litigation, including JPML proceedings, national and international discovery, Daubert hearings, trials, and appeals. He has also been lead counsel in challenging medical liability lawsuits for a world-class hospital network. Whether as part of a risk assessment, compliance investigation, or litigation, Adam is regularly called on to work with medical and scientific experts on difficult risk identification, liability, and causation issues. In addition to his work with life sciences companies, Adam has handled litigation and investigations relating to asbestos, chemicals, probiotics, food products, automobiles, auto parts, and consumer goods.

    Adam is licensed in New York and Connecticut. He has litigated in state and federal courts throughout the United States and has been lead counsel in cross-border business arbitrations. He has also led international investigations for European and Brazilian companies doing business in the U.S. and regularly advises on FDA, FCPA, OSHA, and NHTSA issues.

    He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of NEC Society, the leading 501(c)(3) dedicated to the understanding and prevention of neonatal disease necrotizing enterocolitis.
