Alexander B. Possino is an Associate in the Pittsburgh office of GRSM and is a member of the Health Care practice group. His practice concentrates on the defense of nursing homes, assisted livings, and other long term care facilities throughout the Commonwealth.

Prior to joining GRSM, Alex worked at an Am Law 200 law firm for approximately six years where he defended employers, their insurers, and self-insured employers against claims of liability for work-related injuries.  He gained invaluable litigation experience during this period, having taken the depositions of dozens of medical, vocational, and other experts, in addition to many other witnesses, including claimants, employer representatives, a project manager, and a gym owner.  Alex was responsible for handling a high volume of cases from inception to conclusion, so he frequently participated in mediations, testimonial hearings, and submitted written and oral arguments to judges and the appeal board as well.

Prior to graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Alex held externships with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s office where he earned the unique opportunity to prosecute multiple defendants at trial prior to passing the Pennsylvania Bar exam. He also served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
