Allison M. Strayer is an Associate in the Williamsburg office of GRSM. Her practice focuses on litigation, including general litigation as well as Estate and Trust Litigation.
Within her estate litigation practice, Allison brings and defends challenges to wills and trusts, disputes involving the interpretation of estate planning documents, and proceedings for guardianship and conservatorships. She also litigates cases in which a decedent may not have had a formal estate plan or when the status of an estate plan is in question. Her practice also encompasses fiduciary disputes that relate to issues surrounding a fiduciary acting as trustee of a trust, executor or administrator of an estate, or agent of a power of attorney or advance medical directive.
Allison’s representation extends to business litigation to include contract disputes as well as disputes involving claims of fraud, defamation, conspiracy, and tortious interference.
Allison also practices within real estate litigation, bringing and defending eviction claims, title disputes, and community association disputes. She advises community associations (homeowners associations and condominium associations) on general legal matters, document amendments, policies and procedures, as well as covenant enforcement and collection actions.
