    Brittney B. Rykovich is Managing Partner of the firm's Indianapolis office where she focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters.

    As a skilled litigator, at both the state and federal court level, Brittney represents a wide range of clients from small private organizations to Fortune 500 companies. Brittney's clients include transportation carriers and their insurers, as well as general contractors, manufacturers and design professionals. Brittney has significant experience handling a variety of commercial litigation claims, including professional liability, intellectual property and product and premises liability. Brittney also routinely serves as local and primary defense counsel for national corporations in environmental and toxic tort matters.

    In addition, Brittney spends a substantial portion of her practice representing employers against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. Brittney's representation includes frequent interactions with administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Indiana Civil Rights Commission. As part of her employment practice, Brittney assists her clients in developing risk management strategies in order to ensure compliance with state and federal law.

  • Representative Experience
    • Litigated on behalf of public corporations, financial institutions, private investors, and title companies involving multifaceted contractual disputes. 
    • Defended claims arising under consumer protection statutes, including the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) and FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act).
    • Represented clients before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois wherein tax deeds were obtained in violation of the automatic stay.
    • Litigated against global oil conglomerates regarding mineral interest rights lost through tax deed proceedings.
    • Counseled corporate clients in the acquisition of multi-family, commercial and industrial properties, working to develop and implement creative strategies to accomplish clients’ acquisition objectives.
