    Capri Trigo is a Partner in the Miami office. She represents clients in class action and multidistrict litigation including breach of contract actions, commercial litigation, franchise litigation, equipment financing and leasing issues, consumer protection claims arising under consumer protection and false advertising statutes, including under the FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA, as well as claims involving actions brought under Florida's Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), Title VII, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), purchase contract violations, fiduciary obligations and negligent and fraudulent misrepresentation. 
     
    She has also served as counsel in intellectual property disputes involving trademark and copyright infringement, employment disputes, and unfair competition in state and federal courts. Her practice also focuses on complex litigation in the areas of employment (representing management clients in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including equal employment, breach of contract, harassment, wage-and-hour, leaves and benefits, non-competition, accessibility disputes, torts, and other claims), professional liability, collections recovery, and commercial law in state, federal and administrative courts. She has also handled claims for general negligence, premises liability, products liability, contractual indemnity, and insurance. Capri's multifaceted practice also includes experience with complex business torts and unfair competition, antitrust, breach of fiduciary duty, and ERISA claims.
     
    She represents many different parties involved in construction disputes and litigation.  Her experience includes representation of owners, developers, design professionals, engineer professionals, trade professionals, contractors, receiverships, and condominium associations in construction litigation arising from defective design, defective construction, code defects, defective specifications, breach of contract, and failure to perform project management duties, including inspections and responses to requests for information.  
     
    Her extensive experience includes and all aspects of litigation from the pre-suit stage through appeal. In addition to her trial litigation experience, she handles the collection, management, production, and preservation of electronically stored information for clients engaged in high-stakes litigation and is skilled in using many electronic discovery software platforms.
