    Claire K. Robinett focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense, retail & hospitality premises liability, and health care professional liability. Claire has extensive civil litigation experience from intake to case resolution in matters ranging from construction and premises liability to medical malpractice and long-term care defense. Having sat first and second chair in many trials, Claire is as comfortable trying cases as she is securing favorable settlements for her clients in mediation.

  • Representative Experience
    • Obtained premises liability defense verdict in Northern District of Mississippi after a three-day trial. In the case, the plaintiffs, a husband and wife, alleged that a dangerous condition existed on Tractor Supply’s premises
    • Obtained summary judgment in Lee County Circuit Court in Mississippi on behalf of physician client accused of medical malpractice
    • Obtained case dismissal in Southern District of Mississippi on behalf of physician client accused of medical malpractice. The case alleged negligence in the prescription of two contraindicated medications, which the plaintiff claimed led to the patient’s death.
    • Appealed bench trial award from a Warren County Circuit Court in a wrongful arrest case and obtained a reversal from the Mississippi Supreme Court who rendered a verdict in favor of the city and its officers
