    Conor Higgins is an associate in the GRSM Chicago office. His practice includes employment law and commercial litigation in federal and state court. 

    Prior to joining GRSM, Conor represented insurance carriers and employers in federal civil suits brought under the Defense Base Act. Conor managed all stages of the litigation process including written discovery, depositions, evaluating/negotiating settlement, mediations, and trial. In addition, while working as a law clerk Conor gained valuable experience defending employers in discrimination claims brought under Title VII.

    Conor refined his oral advocacy skills during law school where he served as a Moot Court Fellow in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition. Conor argued against law school students from around the world and helped his team finish in the top 20% out of over 250 schools. 

    Conor also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jorge L. Alonso in the Northern District of Illinois where he drafted opinions on criminal and civil matters including Title VII discrimination claims.
