Dean Y. Drew is an Associate in the Dallas office of GRSM. Dean has experience participating in all phases of litigation, including drafting responsive pleadings; drafting dispositive motions; drafting written discovery; conducting extensive document reviews; participating in the depositions of fact and expert witnesses; assisting in trial preparation; and attending trial.

• Attorney Advisor/Coach for Plano West Senior High School’s Mock Trial Team

• Obtained complete dismissal via pre-answer motion to dismiss on all claims against major travel agency based in Tulsa, Oklahoma against causes of action for breach of contract; insurance bad faith; fraud; and Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act.
• Obtained complete summary judgment in the Superior Court of Maricopa County, Arizona, for leading North American engine manufacture in wrongful death dispute against claims of alleged product exposure which resulted in decedent’s underlying disease.
• Secured non-suit of all claims for leading North American producer of industrial and agricultural chemicals in wrongful death dispute stimming from an ammonium nitrate explosion outside of Camden, Arkansas that made national news and was investigated by multiple federal agencies.
• Obtained dismissal of $50 Million lawsuit for a world leader in the manufacture of COVID tests, along with its president, against claims brought by Swiss medical supply company, for fraud, negligent misrepresentation, civil conspiracy, and aiding and abetting in the District Court for Harris County, Texas.
• Represented prominent livestock husbandry operation based in Arkansas by successfully obtaining a complete dismissal of class action lawsuit for alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Arkansas Minimum Wage Act.
• Represented managing members of limited liability companies in the successful defense of claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, fraudulent inducement, and conspiracy, involving misappropriation of company funds.
• Representation of a limited liability company in the successful prosecution of former company officers based upon claims under the Texas Theft Liability Act, conversion, and breach of fiduciary duty.
• Represented a general contractor in the successful defense of wrongful death, premises liability, and negligence action, which resulted in the pre-trial dismissal of certain claims, and a favorable final settlement on remaining claims.
• Represented developers of a mix-use development and successfully obtained the release of proceeds from tax incentive financing relating to claims of misappropriation after entry of a temporary restraining order.
