Evgenia Terehova is Senior Counsel in the Orange County office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Product & General Liability practice groups. She has experience representing individuals, businesses, and insurance companies while handling cases related to high exposure personal injury claims, product liability, premises liability matters, multi-party disputes and business litigation matters. She has taken plentiful depositions, worked up cases for mediations and trials, participated in trials and resolved challenging claims.

She focuses on building evidentiary leverage at the early stage of case development by taking key depositions and consulting with selected experts to explore opponents’ weaknesses with regard to both liability and damages. She enjoys getting to know her clients and working with them toward achieving a successful case resolution.

Ms. Terehova resolved a claim involving a mother alleging significant orthopedic injuries and her child, who was a fetus at the time of the accident and who attributed a traumatic brain injury to the collision. The matter settled for an amount substantially under the policy limits as a result of developing evidence that demonstrated that the mother’s injuries were minor in nature and there was a disconnect between the child’s alleged brain injury and the timing of the accident.

Ms. Terehova has also resolved various claims involving significant traumatic brain injury and spinal injury claims in the face of policy limit demands for amounts significantly less than the limits.
