Geofrey L. Mpamulungi is an Associate Attorney at Salt Lake City office of GRSM. He has experience representing corporate and individual clients. Such representations include litigation, mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternate dispute resolution.
Geofrey’s practice focuses on representing clients in a variety of litigation areas. In respect of commercial litigation, his representations include businesses and individuals of all sizes, professionals, especially attorneys and commercial disputes such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraud related matters. He also has experience defending insurance companies against actions by insureds as well as competitors.
Prior to joining GRSM, Geofrey worked with one of the largest Insurance companies in the nation in its Insurance Defense Litigation Department. He was also Founder and Managing Partner of his law firm in Kampala, Uganda, which he founded at age 24, and successfully managed for eight years before its merger with another leading law firm in the country. Geofrey also worked as Adjunct Faculty Lecturer, in one of the leading universities in Uganda, teaching Corporate and Media Law for eight years.

- Committee Chair, (Legal & Medical Advisory), Executive Board, Better Foundations & Futures, Inc., Suwanee, GA, 2020-2023. Oversaw a spectrum of the organizations’ routine matters, including evaluation of existing Advisory Board structures for effectiveness and best practices, regulatory compliance. Successfully negotiated, drafted contracts
- Legal Counsel, Nateete Archdeaconry, Namirembe Diocese, Kamala, Uganda, 2017-2021, where Geofrey oversaw effective corporate governance through bylaws and policy management, contract compliance and dispute resolution, identified areas of risk, created ways to mitigate such risks and helped both the Archdeaconry and Diocese operations compliant and more efficient.
- Volunteer, Pro Bono - IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Students’ Outreach Clinic, 2019-2021. As LLM student, I successfully conducted pedagogy research and initial interviews in a variety of matters related to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, felony assault, and medical malpractice and insurance fraud for low-income populations under the supervision of Senior Attorney.
- Volunteer Editor-Handbook of Help – Pro Bono, Coalition for Homelessness Intervention & Prevention (CHIP) from September – December 2020. While pursuing his LLM, Geofrey conducted extensive stakeholder management interview to edit and update the Handbook of Help, a listing of services available to individuals who have lost their homes, including Indianapolis area youths, formerly incarcerated individuals, homeless shelter clients, and residents, which led to publication of a revised Handbook of Help.
