    Ian Williamson is a Partner with the firm’s Environmental/Toxic Tort and Construction practice groups. Ian has experience handling insurance coverage litigation, construction litigation, business litigation, and insurance defense for product liability, general liability and construction defect.  He has handled these cases from intake, through trial, and on appeal.

    He currently represents several construction and automotive industry clients in the defense of asbestos claims.  He manages the firm’s representation of Hennessy Industries in asbestos those cases.

    Ian defends all types of clients in personal injury and product liability claims.  He has a substantial portfolio of hospitality and retail industries he represents in premises liability claims.  

    In the construction field, he has advised and represented clients in contract negotiation, mechanic’s lien claims, construction contract disputes and construction defect litigation. He has also represented and advised institutional property owners on construction issues. Mr. Williamson has represented virtually every sub-trade from underground utilities to roofing and skylights in both commercial and residential construction.  Ian has also represented design professionals in malpractice claims.

    Ian was General Counsel to a prominent non-profit institution in La Jolla for seven years and currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Camp Stevens, located in Julian.
