    Kerri Samuel is Senior Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. Kerri practice includes a broad range of transactional real estate matters, with a focus on commercial leasing and real estate acquisition. Kerri regularly represents both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of office leases as well as public and privately held companies in the acquisition of office buildings and multi-family residential projects.

    Kerri received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the San Diego Law Review. While in law school, Kerri interned at the United States Attorney’s Office and the nonprofit organization Invisible Children. Prior to law school, Kerri worked as a litigation paralegal at a large law firm in New York City.

    Experience

    • Assisted in the acquisition, leasing and subsequent disposition of multiple biotech properties in San Diego.
    • Assisted in the $39 million joint acquisition of a prominent mixed-use office and retail building in downtown San Diego and subsequently negotiated over 15 leases and lease amendments for the building.
    • Assisted in the $100 million acquisition of a full city block in Hollywood, California for the development of a 695-unit apartment project with 25,000 square feet of retail space.
    • Assisted in the $20 million joint acquisition of a multi-building office park in the Sorrento Valley neighborhood of San Diego.
