Kevin Luis Cabrera

Kevin Luis Cabrera is an Associate in the Tampa office and a member of the firm’s Insurance practice group.

With his background in complex corporate litigation, Kevin is a corporate problem solver, providing competent legal analysis and advice on any issue a client may have. Achieving that goal requires gaining a concrete understanding of the client’s goals, advising the client on all the relevant law and possible outcomes, and presenting the best course of action to meet the client’s needs.

Kevin knows that clients appreciate open and clear communication, ensuring clients are fully aware of the status of their case at every phase. From pre-suit to trial, Kevin provides clients up-to-date analysis and thoroughly considered recommendations to obtain the best results possible.

The courtroom is not the only stage Kevin has step foot on. Prior to starting his law career, he was a competitive Latin ballroom dancer. Through competitive dance, he learned that hard work, dedication, and practice are the keys to success; and brings all these attributes to every client matter.

Representative Experience

• Obtained summary judgment in favor of an insurer based on material misrepresentations made by an insured throughout the insurer’s investigation that initially resulted in an appraisal award.
• Successfully defended a summary judgment before Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal involving material misrepresentations made by the insured during the insurer’s claim investigation.
