    Lee Ann Galowich is a Partner in the Chicago office of GRSM. For over 25 years, Ms. Galowich has focused her practice on complex insurance coverage matters. She represents and provides counseling to domestic and London market insurers on claims arising from directors and officers liability, attorney malpractice, mortgage bankers and brokers liability, employment practices liability, broker dealer and other financial institution matters. Her experience also extends to commercial general liability policies and claims. Lee Ann especially is known for her keen strategy in claims handling and coverage analysis when negotiating, managing and monitoring actions throughout the United States.  She frequently is asked to develop new products and endorsements on behalf of insurers. Lee Ann is the leader of insurance coverage and claims handling seminars within the Chicago office and provides in-house seminars to clients as well. She formerly defended design professionals in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

    • Prevailed on behalf of D&O insurer in California coverage litigation when insureds withdrew tender following insurer’s filing of motion for summary judgment, saving full $2 million policy limit.
    • Successfully resolved employment practices liability coverage dispute in California with insured on the issue of whether COVID exclusion barred coverage for entire claim.
    • Drafted for international insurer for-profit management liability policies which provide directors and officers, employment practices and fiduciary liability coverages.
    • Representation of London market insurers under D&O primary and excess policies in connection with high profile claims including Lehman Brothers.
    • Representation of the London market as monitoring counsel in connection with claims under professional liability policies issued to the mortgage industry and retail broker dealers.
    • Representation of the London market and domestic insurers analyzing coverage issues, preparing of coverage position letters, monitoring litigation and litigating coverage disputes.
