Linda Lourimore Nusser is Of Counsel with GRSM. Linda began her career at GRSM in 1989 and has specialized in the defense of tort and product liability cases since that time. She has represented national and multi-national corporations which manufacture medical devices and pharmaceuticals, asbestos-containing products, automobiles, consumer products and a wide variety of other products.

With extensive experience in state and federal courts, Linda has acted as both national and local counsel for such corporations in the defense of high exposure and complex cases in the fields of tort and products liability, general liability, premises liability, and food and mold contamination. Linda has also represented professionals (security providers, contractors, physicians, attorneys and insurance brokers) and premise owners (including fast food franchises, hotel and other corporations) in a variety of cases, involving negligence and fraud causes of action. Accordingly, Linda is an active member of several practice groups at GRSM related to these sometimes overlapping fields of expertise.

Linda frequently assists clients with the implementation of both case-specific and global pre- and post-litigation procedures which result in cost-effective and favorable outcomes for her clients. Her extensive experience includes preparation of strategic pretrial and dispositive motions, taking and defending over 1,000 depositions, preparation of effective and targeted written discovery, successful and timely resolution of cases through mediation, arbitration and other methods, and all forms of pretrial and trial preparation. Linda has drafted and argued numerous successful discovery and pleading-related motions on behalf of her clients. She has also participated as a selected member of defense committees in various California County Superior Court’s with respect to the implementation of global procedures used in complex and coordination/related cases due to her expertise in handling such matters. Linda’s participation on such committees was done at the request of both her peers and the judges involved in the handling of such cases, due to her recognized and demonstrated knowledge of the legal and factual hurdles involved in handling multi-party and numerous cases involving the same products.
