    Matthew Mejia is an Associate in the San Diego office of GRSM. Matthew is a member of the Intellectual Property practice group, working on a variety of intellectual property litigation matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright cases. He is also an Assistant Editor for the ABA’s Landslide Magazine, which is a magazine dedicated to the sharing of intellectual property knowledge and experience acquired on the frontlines of practice, business, and the arts and sciences.

    Prior to joining the firm, Matthew clerked for the Honorable Bernard G. Skomal of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the Honorable Scott H. Yun in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

    He received his JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he was a part of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. During law school, Matthew served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the Honorable Robert N. Kwan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and the Honorable Victoria G. Chaney in the California Court of Appeal. During law school, he was employed as a teaching assistant in a local school district, working with students with disabilities.
