Reshma Bajaj

Reshma A. Bajaj is Senior Counsel in the San Francisco office, and a member of the Tort and Products Liability, and Automobile Litigation and Autonomous Vehicles practice groups.  Her practice is focused on commercial and consumer breach of warranty cases for automotive manufacturers. 

Reshma is a seasoned litigator with strong credentials having been involved in all aspects of complex mass tort and products liability litigation from inception through trial in state and federal courts and has successfully negotiated settlements in various matters for multiple clients. Most recently, she has gained experience in commercial litigation having assisted in the representation of a former Chief Financial Officer in a class action securities matter, and two Fortune 100 and 500 multinational companies in the arbitration of consumer disputes involving privacy and antitrust issues.

• Represented various contractors, suppliers, and premise owners in mass tort litigation. Served as second chair in multiple trials on behalf of Northern California’s oldest and largest refractory contractor in matters related to toxic exposure to asbestos. 
• Negotiated settlements and dismissals on behalf of clients in asbestos litigation in numerous matters.  Obtained dismissal on behalf of client in matter involving a demand for millions of dollars, the day before trial by using plaintiff’s expert’s testimony to show client was not liable for injuries suffered by plaintiff. 
• Assisted in the representation a Fortune 100 company in all aspects of a successful defense against tens of thousands of multi-million dollar consumer privacy and antitrust arbitration demands across various jurisdictions in the US, and prevailing on all merits hearings.
