  • Biography

    Sarah C. Thompson is Senior Counsel in the Hartford office of GRSM and is a member of the Product & General Liability, Environmental/Toxic Tort, and Cannabis, Hemp & CBD practice groups.

    Sarah practices in the areas of Environmental Law, Products Liability, and Toxic and Mass Torts. She has extensive experience representing clients on environmental matters, including wetlands use and permitting issues, as well as significant experience defending energy companies in workplace exposure litigation. She received a competitive position as an ORISE Research Fellow with the United States Environmental Protection Agency. She has focused much of her research into environmental law with an eye toward affecting public policy on a national scale.

    Sarah graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2016. While at Loyola Law, she was an editor of the Maritime Law Journal, participated in Moot Court as a Pace Environmental Team Oralist and Coach in addition to being a Top 4 Finalist, and was President of the Environmental Law Society. She also was inducted into the Order of Barristers, received Academic Excellence Awards in Environmental Law Seminar: Advocacy Project, Environmental Enforcement, and Admiralty Insurance, and has been honored with the Presidential Service Award for Volunteerism. Prior to law school, she attended the University of California, Irvine in her home state.
