    Sarah Katz, an associate in the Ohio offices of GRSM, represents clients through all stages of litigation and appeals across practice areas including complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, business torts, corporate governance, employment matters, class action suits, personal injury, bad faith insurance claims and industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare and hospital services and manufacturing.

    • Successfully confirmed arbitration award in favor of client, including defending challenge to award proceeding to the Ohio Supreme Court. This Ohio Supreme Court decision helped to clarify the procedure for confirming arbitration awards under Ohio law. BST Ohio Corp. v. Wolgang, Slip Opinion No. 2021-Ohio-1785.

    • Repeatedly obtained dismissals at the motion to dismiss stage for pharmaceutical manufacturer client based on personal jurisdiction and preemption grounds.

    • Part of trial team that successfully obtained a defense verdict in a personal injury action against medical facility client.
