    Shay Talbitzer is Senior Counsel in the Lincoln and Omaha offices of GRSM. A former semi-professional athlete and collegiate Academic All-American, she brings a natural competitive spirit and relentless energy to her litigation practice. 

    She represents clients involved in complex business and commercial litigation matters. She also counsels clients on matters involving construction, insurance defense, products liability, professional negligence, and personal injury.

    Shay aims to build a relationship of mutual trust and respect by collaborating with her clients to creatively resolve complex issues through careful preparation and proactive, strategic decision-making. She is passionate about helping her clients to achieve their personal, professional and business goals and is very responsive to clients’ needs and concerns.

    Representative Experience

    • Helped defendant clients successfully resolve complex multi-party litigation arising out of fatal railroad incident in Dallas County, Texas involving more than five plaintiffs who collectively sought upwards of $100 million dollars in damages.
    • Played a key role in the resolving of six-figure attorney fee dispute in Harris County, Texas involving claims of malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty on behalf of a personal representative.
    • Obtained summary judgment and then take-nothing judgment against Plaintiff in highly contentious recruiter commission dispute in Collin County, Texas.
    • Guided financial institution through complex regulatory proceeding achieving the denial of application by power supplier to construct a transmission line in front a Class A building located in Collin County, Texas.
