Sophia N. Wilson is an Associate in the Louisville, Kentucky office of GRSM and is a member of the Construction, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Law practice groups. Sophia has extensive experience in complex litigation in both civil and criminal practice. She has litigated numerous civil disputes involving breach of contract, negligence, wrongful death, and personal injury. She successfully defends clients against Title VII of the Civil Rights of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and various other federal and state law claims.
Additionally, Sophia advises regarding non-competition and non-solicitation matters, employment agreements, separation agreements, and other transactional employment-related issues. As a former public defender in the largest jurisdiction in the state of Kentucky, Sophia has experience in criminal defense litigation in actions ranging from petty theft to murder charges and represented indigent adults accused of crimes and status offenses. Sophia has experience in representing clients in both state and federal courts.
Sophia received her law degree from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she was a member of the NKU Mock Trial team. She was the recipient of the Judge Frank Allen Fletcher Outstanding Student Advocate Award for her achievement in advocacy competitions. Sophie graduated from the University of Kentucky, where she earned a degree in Political Science.
