    Terrence J. Brasch is senior counsel at GRSM.  His practice primarily focuses on construction and employment law, as well as general liability and professional liability defense. Terrence has experience in all phases of litigation and is focused on finding the most effective resolution for his clients in the unique circumstances of each dispute. He has handled matters throughout the entire State of California, from his native San Diego to his current home in the Bay Area, and all the way to Eureka.

    In his construction practice Terrence represents architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialty trades.  He defends his clients against defect claims, contractual disputes, and personal injury and wrongful death claims that occur at construction sites. Terrence handles disputes related to commercial buildings, multi-unit residential developments, wineries, and single-family homes. In the close-knit group of Northern California construction practitioners, special masters, and mediators, he is known and well respected.  

    In his employment practice, Terrence defends employers against wrongful termination, wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims in both California state and federal courts. He also handles non-litigated matters, advises clients on compliance issues, and negotiates non-disclosure agreements. Terrence also defends property owners, manufacturers, retailers, and transportation companies in products and premises liability suits. He additionally represents public entities including fire protection districts, water districts, and other local governmental entities in a variety of litigation and regulatory matters.
