Partner Mercedes Colwin Featured Panelist at The New York Times Sponsored 2018 Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Senior Partner Mercedes Colwin will be a featured panelist at the 2018 Global Meeting of the Women's Forum for the Economy and Society on November 15 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France. Colwin's panel will present an Oxford-style debate titled "Bridging Humanity Debate."

The debate, co-curated by The New York Times, will provide insights and commentary on ending sexual harassment in the workplace. As a seasoned trial lawyer who provides training to companies small and large including Fortune 100 publicly traded companies on how to prevent harassment and discrimination of all types in the workplace and a former Administrative Law Judge for the New York State Division of Human Rights, Colwin will add a depth of expertise and knowledge on issues impacting diversity, inclusion and human rights. 

Francesca Donner of The New York Times, and Sophie Lambin, Editorial Director at the Women's Forum, will serve as the moderators. Joining Colwin as panelists are: Katja Iversen, CEO, Women Deliver; Mary-Frances Wain, SVP, National Women's Law Center; Philippe Lévêque, Director General, CARE France; Michael Kaufman, Founder, White Ribbon Campaign; and Heather Barnabe, CEO G(irls)20. Marlène Schiappa, Minister of Gender Equality in France, will provide 'reflections' on what she hears during the debate and will put it in the context of the work she is leading in France.

The Women's Forum Global Meeting 2018 is a three-day meeting, November 14-16, that will join more than 2,000 global leaders from society and economy to bridge divides and move towards inclusive progress for all of humanity.
