DRI Publishes COVID-19 Article Authored by Denver Partner Christine Kroupa

November 2020

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Denver partner Christine Kroupa authored an article "Keeping On with Staying Sane during COVID-19" published in the Fall 2020 edition of DRI's Sharing Success publication, the newsletter of the Women in Law Committee.

The article recommends tactics for balance as we evolve to a long term model of working from home. Kroupa offers suggestions that although simple, can provide fundamental principles to implement and alleviate stress. She also shares suggestions for preparing for hearings and depositions in a remote setting.

Kroupa represents insurers in a variety of insurance matters particularly focusing on first party bad faith litigation. She has significant experience handling high exposure, complex litigation, which gives her the ability to quickly assess exposure and damages. Her experience is expansive as she handles commercial property claims, appraisals, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, homeowners’ insurance claims, and coverage opinions.

She is also experienced in the defense of professional liability claims, particularly legal malpractice claims, which includes securing a defense verdict and succeeding on the client’s counterclaim for unpaid attorneys’ fees, along with successfully defending against grievances.
