Birmingham Attorney Stacy Moon Featured Presenter on Expert Witnesses at DRI Seminars

Stacy L. Moon, senior counsel in the firm’s Birmingham office, will serve as a faculty member at DRI's Litigation Skills Committee's Workshop on January 29, 2020.  The workshop, “Master the Technical Aspects of Your Civil Rights Case: The Skill of the Expert Witness Deposition,” will involve presentations and hands-on exercises on selecting and working with expert witnesses, preparing an expert witness for deposition, and defending expert witness depositions. The workshop is designed to help mid-level lawyers hone their skills and have hands-on experience.  In addition, Moon will speak at the DRI Civil Rights and Government Tort Liability Seminar on January 30, 2020, also regarding expert witnesses.  

Moon is currently the Chair of the Pretrial Practice and Procedure subcommittee of DRI's Commercial Litigation committee.  This committee serves as a resource for all DRI members to obtain updates regarding developments in pretrial practice and procedure, and provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of pretrial practice and procedure topics.  Moon is also the Immediate Past Chair of the Law Practice Management Committee, and is an active member of the Employment and Labor Law Committee.

Moon is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.  She has more than 20 years of experience in defense litigation, including commercial, construction, and employment litigation.
