Megan Adeyemo Co-Authored Article on Helping Veterans with Financial Issues for ABA’s Business Law Today

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Dallas partner Megan Adeyemo co-authored "Helping Those Who Have Borne the Battle: Working with Veterans, Servicemembers, and Their Families on Financial Issues," published October 11 in the American Bar Association’s (“ABA”) Business Law Today’s digital edition.

Adeyemo and co-author Nicole McLemore, summarize the key points from a presentation given at the Virtual Insolvency Conference 2020 of the same name. The article identifies tips and several key issues arising in the representation of veterans, service members, and their families, and explains significant changes made to the Bankruptcy Code in 2019.

Adeyemo is a partner in the Business Transactions, Bankruptcy, Restructuring, & Creditors’ Rights, Real Estate, D&O and Shareholder Litigation and Banking & Finance practice groups. She is co-chair of the firm’s national Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors' Rights practice group. She has substantial experience in the representation of debtors, creditors and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the United States.
