Gordon & Rees Continues to Expand Capabilities in Tennessee

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani continues expanding capabilities in the firm’s Nashville office with the addition of partner Joshua D. Wilson and associates Tyler S. Sanders and Rachel M. McCord. Coming into the new year, the Nashville office elevated two attorneys to partner, Adam J. Hiller and Pamela S. Webb, and introduced partner John P. Cogger, who joins the team from the firm's Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County offices. 

John P. Cogger is an experienced trial and litigation partner at Gordon & Rees in the Commercial Litigation, Professional Liability Defense, and Intellectual Property practice groups. His experience includes in a wide array of civil matters, having handled a varied civil caseload throughout his career. He has both civil and high stakes criminal trial experience, having successfully tried cases in both state and federal courts. He also has experience in California State Court and Ninth Circuit Appellate matters.

Joshua D. Wilson joined the firm at the end of 2021 as a partner in the firm’s Entertainment & Recreation Law, Intellectual Property, and Employment Law practice groups. He handles complex and challenging litigation matters across the country. In the sports and entertainment areas, he represents athletes, artists, songwriters, managers, agents, actors, bloggers, podcasters, influencers, producers, publishers, and record labels in both transactional and litigation matters. He has been involved in some of the most high profile and complex entertainment and intellectual property matters in the country with a focus on contract disputes, royalty disputes, management agreements, publishing issues, and copyright and trademark infringement matters. In the employment field, Wilson has litigated Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and Equal Pay, non-compete, and trade secret matters.  He often works with companies in drafting policies and procedures in employee handbooks.  He has also has extensive trial experience in all types of commercial litigation matters.

Adam J. Hiller, recently elevated to partner, focuses his practice on Professional Liability, Commercial Litigation and Construction Litigation. He is an experienced litigator in federal and state courts and defends professionals and private and public sector clients against a wide range of claims, including malpractice, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraud.

Pamela S. Webb, also recently elevated to partner, focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage evaluation and defense and general commercial litigation. She has pursued and routinely obtained favorable settlements, judgments and verdicts through mediation, dispositive motions, bench and jury trials, and the appellate process for her clients.

Tyler S. Sanders primarily practices in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Employment Law.  He represents employers in a variety of matters, including EEOC claims, claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and Tennessee Human Rights Act claims. His practice also includes counseling and guidance on a wide range of employment topics, including non-competes, hiring practices, non-solicitation agreements, employee handbooks, policies and procedures, and training, to name a few. He has significant experience handling construction litigation matters and a variety of commercial litigation claims.

Rachael M. McCord is a member of the Healthcare and Commercial Litigation practice groups.  She defends professionals, including attorneys, healthcare providers, physicians, physician assistants, medical spas and aestheticians, mental health professionals, and real estate agents and brokers.
