Dallas Senior Counsel Brent Buyse has been selected as a 2023 Best Lawyer Under 40 by D Magazine and will be featured in their January issue. He was selected as a "young gun" in the category of Business/Litigation.
He was chosen by peer nomination and confirmed by a panel of top local attorneys who identified him as one of the outstanding professionals in the field. To qualify, a nominee must be under 40 years of age through December 31, 2023, have a valid Texas Bar card number with no pending disciplinary action, and have practiced in Texas for a minimum of five years.
Mr. Buyse is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Product & General Liability, International, and Aviation practice groups. He has represented a diverse group of clients in various industries and obtained summary judgment victories across Texas.
He has appeared pro hac vice in multiple jurisdictions and successfully resolved high-profile matters before state agencies and administrative law courts. Recently, Mr. Buyse served as a monitor team member for the largest corporate monitorship in United States history. He also defends corporate entities in nationwide and state claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA") and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA").
