Catherine Delorey to Co-Chair the ABA Forum on Construction Law’s Fall 2023 Meeting in Washington, D.C.

San Francisco Senior Counsel Catherine Delorey was selected as Program Co-Chair for the American Bar Association's Forum on Construction Law 2023 Fall Meeting, "Navigating Government Construction: Don't Make a Federal Case Out of It" in Washington, D.C. from September 27-29, 2023. 

Ms. Delorey participated in planning this national program from its inception over a year ago. The program will feature esteemed judges, government lawyers, and private practitioners covering a broad spectrum of topics related to federal government construction. Session topics include bid protests, navigating the claims process and procedures, green and sustainable spending, cybersecurity obligations, delay and disruption, subcontracting dynamics, alternative dispute resolution, and termination.

Ms. Delorey is Senior Counsel in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees and a member of the Construction practice group. She is also active in the Gordon & Rees Women in Construction Tuesday Talks Webinar Series and the Gordon & Rees Diversity Committee’s South Asian Affinity Group. She has many years of experience resolving disputes on behalf of contractors, owners, and consultants on public and private projects involving a number of legal issues facing the construction industry, including differing site conditions, nondisclosure, delays and acceleration, liquidated damages, termination, extra work, payment and retention withholdings, and lien claims.
