Gordon & Rees Strengthens Product & General Liability Practice Group with Addition of Two-Attorney Team

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Gregg J. Lytle as a Partner in the firm’s Tulsa and Dallas offices. He joins the Product & General Liability, Health Care, Construction, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Law practice groups. He is joined in the Tulsa office by Senior Counsel James S. Daniel. 

Mr. Lytle’s practice focuses on healthcare, medical malpractice, personal injury, general liability, commercial and business litigation, premises liability, construction defect, employment litigation, and professional malpractice defense. He has over 15 years of trial experience in the defense of national long-term healthcare providers. He also represents the interests of insurers in subrogation actions to recover payments related to property damage, automobile accidents, construction, and other claims. Mr. Lytle has a national practice defending employment discrimination claims and wage and hour law violations.

Mr. Lytle has been included in Oklahoma’s Super Lawyers® Rising Star listing since 2010; in 2017, he was added to the Super Lawyers® Rising Star’s Medical Malpractice Defense register in Texas.

He earned his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law, Oklahoma, and his undergraduate degree in Management from Oklahoma State University.

Mr. Lytle is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado. He is admitted to practice law in all Oklahoma state and federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma; U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth District; and the U.S. District Court for the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas. In addition, he has been admitted pro hac vice to numerous other federal courts.

Mr. Daniel focuses his practice on healthcare litigation, long-term care negligence for insurers and self-insured clients, medical malpractice defense, personal injury, and employment-related matters including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, violation of wage and hour law, and workers’ compensation defense. He also represents businesses and individual clients in disputes arising from contractual relationships and torts.

In representing our clients throughout the country, the Product & General Liability Practice Group manages a broad spectrum of cases including products liability, premises liability, major trucking/transportation claims, security/law enforcement defense matters, food and beverage contamination litigation, construction site accidents, and sports/recreational injuries. The group also routinely handles complex civil litigation involving catastrophic injury, multi-party litigation, and class action lawsuits on behalf of individuals and businesses.
