Reno Partner Thierry V. Barkley has been selected as a featured presenter for a webinar entitled "Advanced Trial Tactics in Nevada: Sophisticated Courtroom Strategies for Experienced and Aspiring Trial Attorneys," hosted by the National Business Institute ("NBI") on November 14, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific.
In this presentation, Mr. Barkley will discuss digital trial preparation, including how to utilize technology, document organization and authentication, courtroom setup, and exhibit selection. He also addresses video depositions and advanced cross-examination techniques.
Mr. Barkley concentrates his practice on insurance work including coverage opinions, declaratory relief, interpleaders, defense of bad faith litigation, and life, health, disability, and ERISA litigation. Over the years, Mr. Barkley has tried to verdict premise liability slip and falls; personal injury auto; professional legal malpractice cases; environmental class actions; commercial contract claims; and first-party bad faith and first-party disability insurance cases. He is a frequent lecturer on handling coverage and bad-faith litigation.
