Megan Stacy Joins Gordon & Rees as Partner in Construction Practice Group

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Megan Stacy as a Partner in the firm's Raleigh office. She joins the Construction, Commercial Litigation, Product & General Liability, and Trucking & Transportation practice groups.

Ms. Stacy has represented manufacturers and contractors in multi-family residential construction defect cases throughout the Carolinas. She has experience pursuing indemnity claims on behalf of surety companies. 

She has also represented clients in premises liability cases and medical providers, attorneys, and design professionals in professional liability cases. She has defended companies of all sizes in litigation involving claims ranging from breach of contract and tortious interference to fraud and veil piercing.

Ms. Stacy is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Construction Law and Litigation Group, the Defense Research Institute, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the South Carolina Bar Association. She was named one of Business North Carolina's Legal Elite in 2022, a North Carolina Super Lawyers ® Rising Star from 2021-2023, and a Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch, Commercial Litigation from 2021-2023. 

She is admitted to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western of North Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She earned her law degree at the Charlotte School of Law and her undergraduate degree from High Point University.
