Nebraska Office Managing Partner A. Victor Rawl Jr. will present the defense perspective in the CLE "Class Action Litigation with Single Family Residences" at the South Carolina Bar's 2023 Construction Law Conference on September 21, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
The presentation will discuss viability and strategies related to putative class actions involving alleged construction defects in single-family residences. Mr. Rawl will focus on defense strategies to defeat class certification, while the two other presenters will address the plaintiff’s strategies and the view from the bench.
Mr. Rawl is a Partner of the firm's South Carolina and Nebraska offices. He is a litigator with broad experience in numerous areas of complex litigation, and he has been recognized many times for his work in the areas of class actions and construction.
