Gretchen Harris Sperry, Co-Chair of the firm's Appellate Practice Group, has been named an honoree in the 5th Annual Top Women in Law Awards by Law Bulletin Media, publisher of Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer.
The selection process for the Top Women in Law honorees involves a comprehensive review of nominations from across the legal community, evaluating each candidate's professional accomplishments, leadership, and commitment to advancing other women in the profession. Sperry was selected from more than 300 nominees for her exemplary leadership and success in the legal field.
Sperry has represented clients in numerous state and federal courts of review, including the United States Supreme Court. As a former appellate court clerk, she is highly skilled in drafting and arguing critical motions and appeals. In addition, she has developed significant proficiency in working alongside trial teams as embedded appellate counsel, contributing to complex commercial litigation, high-exposure catastrophic injury cases, mass torts, constitutional litigation, and labor and employment matters. Sperry’s strategic insight on appellate issues has made her an invaluable asset to her clients.
