Jared L. Byrd is a Partner in the Austin office and a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Mr. Byrd has litigated an array of matters throughout Texas, tried multiple jury trials to verdict, and regularly handles complex product defect litigation, insurance defense, construction defect, and commercial lawsuits. He also has extensive experience in matters regarding premises liability, personal injury, professional malpractice, property damage, subrogation, and homeowners/automotive insurance defense.
Robert L. Gillette is a Partner in the Seattle office and a member of the Employment Law practice group. His practice focuses on defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. He also regularly litigates issues involving trade secrets and non-competition agreements. Mr. Gillette practices in both state and federal court. A significant portion of Mr. Gillette’s practice involves keeping employers out of litigation by advising clients on time-sensitive matters.
William H. Kleindienst is a Partner in the Charleston office and a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. He focuses his practice on advising companies in product liability, asbestos/talc litigation, real estate, environmental, employment, and business transactions. He routinely works with clients in environmental litigation, product liability, real estate, commercial litigation, and business transactions. He also represents public sector agencies and municipalities in a wide variety of legal matters.
Kyle M. Smith is a Partner in the Houston office and a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. Mr. Smith has extensive experience representing and defending companies involved in product defect, medical product defect, and construction defect matters. He has represented physicians who have been sued for alleged medical malpractice or who have had complaints asserted against them in the Texas Medical Board. He has also handled personal injury and automobile accident matters, as well as premises liability actions.
Reese E. Wade is a Partner in the Dallas office and a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. While his practice is primarily focused on litigation, with an emphasis on complex business disputes, he also performs various functions as outside general business counsel for corporate clients relating to entity formation and governance, including, but not limited to, preparation of employment agreements; company agreements; asset purchase agreements; membership interest transfer agreements; and other business contracts.
Rachel L. Werner is a Partner in the Phoenix office and a member of the Health Care practice group. She has experience defending health care providers, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, physician practice groups, and health care professionals, including physicians, nurses, dentists, and oral surgeons, in all aspects of medical professional liability actions. Ms. Werner’s experience also includes defending manufacturers and suppliers in product defect litigation and businesses and individuals in various tort and contract-related claims.
