Nosizi Ralephata Joins GRSM as Employment Law Partner in Charleston Office

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, the nation's first and only full-service law firm with offices in all 50 states, welcomes Nosizi Ralephata as a Partner in the firm's Charleston office, strengthening the Commercial Litigation, Product Liability, and Employment practice groups.

Nosi has a varied litigation background and over two decades of experience that spans several practice areas, including labor and employment, environmental and toxic tort, restrictive covenants and non-competes, complex personal injury, A&E, general liability, construction, hospitality and retail defense, automobile liability, first-party property and coverage, professional liability, directors and officers, personal and advertising injury, and commercial liability.

Her cases typically require resolution through extensive motion practice, mediation, settlement, and, when appropriate, trial. She has also been involved in multiple appellate decisions. Further, she has provided representation for government investigations and enforcement matters.

She has received numerous leadership awards, including amongst others, recognition on Charleston Regional Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list, Emerging Legal Leaders (2011), SC Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2011, 2013-2016), SC Lawyer’s Weekly Leadership in Law Honoree (2018), and Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating – AV.

She devotes a substantial amount of time to giving back to the community and volunteers as a Junior Achievement teacher.

She is admitted to practice in South Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She studied law at the University of East London in England before traveling to the United States where she has been a resident of South Carolina since 1999. She also earned a law degree in the United States at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
