Hartford Partner Cullen Guilmartin and Boston associate Clifford V. Pascarella II have delivered a pair of victories for their clients at trials in District Court in Lawrence, Massachusetts. In both cases, the firm attorneys successfully defended their clients, a prominent solar energy company and certain of its employees, against product liability claims sounding in fraud, misrepresentation, and product defect in connection with a residential solar energy system installed on the plaintiffs’ home.
While the plaintiffs entered voluminous sets of exhibits at trial, it was Pascarella’s strategic use of exhibits during the trials that showed the information gaps in plaintiffs’ allegations and proved to the court that their claims lacked merit. Notably, these are the first two cases he has tried to verdict and his first two victories.
