Health Care Regulatory and Transactional Practice Group Closes $16M Sale of Multi-Office Dermatology Practice to National Chain

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Raleigh senior counsel Justin Puleo, co-chair of the firm's Health Care Regulatory and Transactional Practice Group, and San Francisco real estate partner Ronit Stone recently completed the sale of a multi-office dermatology practice to a national dermatology chain which boasts over 70 locations in multiple states.

The project involved an $8 million asset purchase sale as well as $8 million in guaranteed future rental income. Special negotiation was carried out to address and resolve a right of first refusal covenant. Special tax counsel was provided by Raleigh of counsel Greg Bryant.

A seamless close and integration was achieved with no interruption in revenue to the enterprise.
