    Robin Vinson is Of Counsel with GRSM. 

    Robin has authored numerous articles and manuscripts and spoken regularly on various topics relating to antitrust and trade regulation, health care, electronically stored medical information, and e-discovery issues. He has written and edited publications covering corporate governance and transactions, physician office practice procedures, electronic medical records and e-discovery.

    He enjoys working with clients on business and antitrust issues, including corporate risk management and regulatory compliance.

    • Represented a North Carolina county hospital before the United State Supreme Court in a case of first impression wherein the Supreme Court recognized the applicability of the Local Government Antitrust Immunity Act to health care contracting decisions of county hospitals.
    • Filed an Amicus Brief in the North Carolina Court of Appeals on behalf of the North Carolina Medical Society in a case of first impression involving the applicability of the state’s punitive damages statute in the context of a medical malpractice case.
    • Successfully resolved a medical records breach notification emergency involving the possible loss of 15,000 patient records of a North Carolina medical practice.
    • Successfully obtained a preliminary injunction prohibiting a real estate foreclosure on behalf of a minority member of a North Carolina limited liability company upon allegations of breach of fiduciary duty by majority members in a case removed to the North Carolina Business Court.
