Partner Margaret Stolfa to Speak at Boston Bar Association Meeting

On January 12, Gordon & Rees Boston partner, Margaret Stolfa, will be a speaker at the Boston Bar Association Meeting.

The interactive discussion titled “Getting to Know Conservation Commissions: Their Role as a Local Environmental Agency and How to Get Involved in Your Local Commission" will focus on the role of local conservation commissions in permitting projects in wetland areas, and opportunities for public service on commissions.

Stolfa has extensive experience in a wide range of environmental law, regulation and policy development. She represents clients in administrative matters including regulatory interpretation and compliance, strategic permitting and licensing, enforcement and adjudication. Her practice includes environmental due diligence, brownfields redevelopment and sustainability considerations in the context of complex real estate transactions and litigation support. Having served for almost 10 years as the General Counsel of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) prior to entering private practice, she is uniquely qualified to represent clients before state, local and federal agencies on a wide variety of matters.
