Los Angeles Partners Debra Ellwood Meppen and Brenda Radmacher Present Discussion on Perspectives on Progressive Employment

January 2019

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Partner and Chair of the firm's Employment Practice Debra Ellwood Meppen and Construction Litigation Partner Brenda Radmacher were featured presenters at the Association for Women in Architecture + Design's P.E.P. Talks: Perspectives on Progressive Employment Policies on Wednesday, January 16 in Los Angeles.

Architects, as other professions, are in the midst of substantial work style changes to help create better balance between professional and personal lives. Meppen and Radmacher shed light on legal considerations when developing employment policies for progressive work schedules and styles such as flexible hours, remote work, planned career breaks, and job sharing.

The Gordon & Rees team was also joined by founder and CEO of Live.Work.Lead, Mary Beth Ferrante, who provides consulting, training, and coaching for organizations on how to best support new parents in the workplace an increase the retention rates of new mothers.
