Edward Yu is an Associate in the New York office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group. His past experience includes representing luxury condominiums and cooperative corporations and their board members in various civil matters in New York Supreme Court. He has also represented corporations against federal and New York employment discrimination claims, and numerous doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers in medical malpractice suits.
Mr. Yu served his hometown of Brooklyn as a prosecutor in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office after graduating from law school. He litigated various juvenile crimes, including violent robberies and assaults, from inception to conclusion, including pleas and jury trial. Mr. Yu collaborated with the FBI and the NYPD in investigating, indicting, and ultimately securing a conviction of a former high school teacher in a high-profile sex crimes case.
