Jacklyn Macias is Senior Counsel in the Westchester office of GRSM and is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Construction, Insurance, and Products & General Liability practice groups. She focuses her practice primarily on defending clients under the New York Labor Law, as well as handling a wide range of cases arising from premises, products, and general tort liability claims.
Jacklyn graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York with a B.A. in Political Science in 2007 and obtained her Juris Doctorate at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California in 2013. She is licensed in New York and California and is admitted to practice in the Southern and Northern Districts of New York and the Southern District of California.
She is passionate about file management and nurturing client relationships. She handles her files from inception to trial with a personal touch. She has extensive experience with depositions, motion practice, oral argument, settlement negotiation, and trial preparation, always keeping her focus on fact development, evaluation of her client’s changing needs, assessing potential liability, opportunities for risk transfer, and potential damages exposure in advance of trial. She prides herself on keeping her clients informed and reassured every step of the way.
